Ramadan activity in Agadir: Cooking workshop and Iftar
Are you travelling to Agadir or Taghazout during Ramadan?
You can join our family for an authentic experience from the inside 🤩 Ramadan is actually one of the most special times to be here and our family offers you the opportunity to learn about our Ramadan-only traditions, cooking and sharing the Iftar table together, all outdoors at our Ecofarm.
During this special Ramadan edition, instead of our usual lunch cooking class, we invite you at Green Akal to prepare and share Iftar with our family (Iftar is the meal we have at sunset time to break our fast) :
On the agenda:
● Welcome and introduction: get to know each other before sharing the rest of the day all together as one family.
● Hands-on cooking class with our Mother to prepare various typical Ramadan dishes
● Animal feeding and farm tour
● Setting up the table: learn about our local customs around the Iftar table and explore the diversity of Ramadan dishes.
● Sharing the Iftar meal together at sunset and in a cozy outdoor setting: Expect a generous traditional table with harira soup, fresh juice, dates, Moroccan mint tea, chebakia, your creations and other homemade surprises. A special moment to bond over food and culture :)
🕒 Opening hours : 3pm to 7:30pm
⏳ Duration: 4h30
🤝 Support a local community: because this holy month is also about sharing and solidarity, 10% of each booking will be donated to a local association, allowing your visit to make a positive impact.
This experience is ideal for families, couples and travellers wishing to experience Ramadan in Agadir differently and share an authentic moment with our family away from classic tourist activities.
PS1 : Guests do not need to fast; this Ramadan activity is about culture, connection, and sharing.
PS2 : Transport is not included in our prices, but we can arrange it upon request (see our FAQ page).
